I read the The Time Traveler's Wife by
Audrey Niffenegger in my sophomore year. I honestly did not love the book. Everyone told me I would be sobbing by the end, but I barely teared up. I liked the plot, it was interesting, but very hard to follow. If your in the mood for a Nicolas Sparks sort of book I would reccomend it, but it was not my personal favorite.
I also attempted to read The Time Traveler's Wife, and did not like it enough to finish it. It was drawn out, and when he would come back to times when she was underage, it was kind of creepy. But like you said, the central idea seemed so interesting!
ReplyDeleteThe Time Traveler's Wife is actually a book i've been meaning to read. I saw the movie about a year ago and absolutely loved it. For the most part people say that the book is always better than the movie but i guess in this case it could be different.
ReplyDeleteI really wanted to read this book. Unfortunately I saw the movie first and I was not that into it. I was extremely confused and could not focus or understand it. The books are always so much better than the movies but I do not know if I would be able to read it now.
