The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch was an amazing story. It is about Randy Pausch, a professor who is giving his, 'Last Lecture.' Many professors do something called a 'Last Lecture' where they talk about what is important in their life. This is literally Randy's last, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer and is dying. His lecture is not about dying, it is about overcoming obstacles and achieving your dreams. It made me laugh and cry and was such an inspirational story. I even watched his lecture as well after I read the book. The book itself it actually pretty short and easy to read. It is such a beautiful book and everyone should read it.
This summer, I had to read this book for my English class, and I was dreading reading it. I actually put off reading it until the end of the summer. But when I read it, I literally couldn't put it down, it was so good and so sad. I cried like a baby at the end. My favorite thing about the book was that Pausch never felt bad for himself, he just highlighted the positive aspects of his life rather than neglecting to die happy, I loved it!
